COMMUNITY EVENT: Let’s come together as a COMMUNITY to shine the light on mental illness and fight the stigma associated with it. It is more that a walk/run; it is a movement to show support to those suffering from mental illness and remember those we have lost to mental illness. Working together at a COMMUNITY we can make strides towards understanding, hope, healing and acceptance.
JOIN US on October 19th, 2024 @ the Sunbury Christian Church and walk/run to honor those lost and those who struggle each and every day to find their way to the light. Decorate a luminary in honor of a loved one to help us LIGHT A PATH as the sun sets at 6:46pm and participate in a remembrance ceremony to honor those lost to suicide and provide support and strength to lost in the dark.
SPONSORED BY Igniting A Spark To Prevent Suicide, Inc. and proceeds will help us with our vision to witness those suffering in the darkness, take control of their mental wellness and bring light to their lives.
All participants will receive a Finishers Medal.
