Tiny Troopers

Tiny Troopers is holding its 4th walk/run on Saturday, August 21st. Since local hospitals are not equipped to care for and handle premature births before 32 weeks, in most cases, the infant is transported to a larger hospital far from the family’s home.  

Proceeds from this event will help support families while they care for their infants away from home. We identify needs and provide support such: gas cards, restaurant gift cards, lawn care,  and home cooked meals. The overall goal is to raise money which can in turn, be used to purchase items that will help reduce the time parents have to spend away from their little loved ones, to take care of daily tasks at home, and to reduce the added financial burden of living away from home.

Proceeds from this years race will also being going to Harvey Fetro

Harvey, 13 years old, has underwent 25 surgeries due to being born with Cerebral Palsy. A recent surgery to help him walk (March 5th) resulted in a series of complications. 4 more surgeries and being hospitalized most of March, April and May, with another potential 12 weeks ahead. Proceeds raised for Harvy will support medical expenses and therapies, a wheelchair accessible van and a handicap accessible bathroom. 

Registration and Race Information:

• Dress up in your best glow in the dark attire. Race participants over 21 will receive a beer on us following the race. Live music will be provided following the race.
• Online registration closes on Friday August 21st.
• Race day registration starts at  8:30 pm.
• Kids 11 and under are free and do not need to register!
