Dive into the action this Independence Day with the annual WTOL River Run in downtown Toledo! New this year is a stand alone 5K as well as the traditional 10K.
Celebrate America’s birthday with an unforgettable run through the heart of Toledo, a scenic road race perfect for runners of all fitness levels. Starting and finishing in the heart of Downtown Toledo, Ohio, at the iconic WTOL 11 building on Summit Street. Both the 5K and 10K courses take you across two iconic bridges that offer breathtaking views of the Maumee River. Along the way, soak in the natural beauty of the newly built Glass City Metro Park.
Whether you're chasing a new PR or just looking for a fun way to kick off the holiday, WTOL River Run 5K/10K is where you'll want to be.
The 10K tradition continues with a prize purse totaling $2,700, plus free Saucony shoes to all first place age group winners.

All participants 17 and under receive youth pricing. Discounts will automatically be applied at checkout.

Ample parking is available at the Vistula garage at Superior and Cherry for $5 (cashless payment only), as well as other spots throughout Downtown Toledo.
