Description
The Lake Band 5k Run and Walk will benefit the Lake Band Booster fundraising efforts to continue to enrich the musical experience of students enrolled in the entire 5-12 band program. The race begins at Lake Blue Streak Stadium and travels through local neighborhoods and concludes at Lake Blue Streak Stadium. The race will also feature a Pre-School race for students between the ages of 3 to 5 and a Fun Run specifically for students between the ages 6-11. The race is part of the Subway Ohio Challenge Series.

T-Shirts, Awards, & Results
Free Lake Band 5K wicking T-Shirt to all pre-registered participants in the 5K Run and 5K Competitive Walk categories. If you register after 4/10/17, T-Shirts are first come/first served. Awards will be given immediately after the race. All participants will receive a Finisher's Medal. Age Group Awards for the 5K Run and Competitive Walking categories will be awarded as follows: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-99. Awards will not be mailed. To see your race results immediately on race day simply download the free QR Code app onto your smart phone prior to the race then take a photo of our race QR code to view the results. You can also go to www.ohiochallengeseries.com or www.rsracingtiming.com for race results.
Get a Refund By Referring Friends
Refer 5 or more participants and get a refund of up to $25.00! The way it works: when you register for the event, you will be provided with a referral code. Give this code to your friends and have them enter it during registration. After 5 of them have used it, you get your refund, it's that simple! The more friends you have running with you, the more enjoyable the race is so get Runnin' to the Rhythm and refer some friends!
Race Parking
See the map below for where to park the day of the race. There are certain lots that will be clearly marked which will be closed to race participants and spectators. These are clearly marked on the map, please plan accordingly. There is a tunnel between the school and the stadium near the construction that can be used to walk under Market Ave. rather than cross this busy road.

See the map below for the course route. It is an out and back route with very minimal elevation change making for a quick course.
