Join us on Saturday, April 20, 2024, for the 4th Annual Branstool Orchards Spring Blossom Trail Run 5K! This race will take place at Branstool Orchards in the beautiful rolling hills of Utica, Ohio. This unique race experience will have you winding around and through the beautiful paths, fields, woods, and scenery of Branstool Orchards. All race proceeds and donations benefit The Center of Hope in Bladensburg, Ohio. The Center of Hope works to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of economically disadvantaged people living in rural Ohio (Knox and surrounding counties).
In addition to the 5K, there is also a 1 Mile walk option associated with this event.

Giveaways
Your registration fee includes TWO jars of homemade Branstool Orchards salsa, a custom-branded Branstool Orchards race bib, 2024 finisher medal, and Branstool Orchards apple cider donuts, bananas, coffee, and water at the finish line!
As mentioned above, each participant will receive two jars of homemade salsa. We will have salsa samples available in the market after the race so that you can taste salsas before choosing which two jars you would like to take home. Salsa flavors that we have:

Flamin' Apple

Packet Pickup
All packet pickup will take place at the race site (Branstool Orchards Market) on race morning, starting at 7:15 am. There is no early packet pickup option prior to race day. For directions and address for the race site, please see the directions and map sections at the bottom of this page.
Parking
When you arrive, please plan to pull in the lot at the Branstool Orchards market (5895 Johnstown-Utica Rd NE, Utica), take a left, and drive around the market. We will fill these parking spots FIRST. In the event that our lot at the market fills up, we will put a sign up and direct everyone to park at the church right across the street from the market (Grace Pointe Community Church of Utica - 892 E Columbus Rd, Utica). We will only use the church lot for overflow parking if necessary. Please note that if the church overflow parking is in use, we will have a shuttle vehicle available that can take you from the church lot to Branstool. Please do not cross State Route 62 on foot!
Race Day Timeline
- 7:15 AM - Race Day Packet Pickup begins at the Branstool Orchards Market.
- 8:30 AM - Start time for the Trail Run 5K and 1 Mile Walk
Other Notes
- Dogs are permitted on the course so long as they are on non-retractable leashes
- Jogging strollers are not recommended due to the nature of the terrain at the race site
- Spectators are permitted but may not be allowed in certain higher-traffic areas (immediate start/finish line)
- There will be bottled water at the finish line (and donuts)! However, as with past years, there will be NO on-course water station, so come prepared! If you are a thirsty runner, we suggest carrying a handheld bottle of water with you on your run or walk.
