Description
For the past 12 years, Field of Heroes has been a Memorial Day tradition in central Ohio providing an opportunity for our community to honor their personal heroes. With the current COVID-19 environment, the Westerville Sunrise Rotary will pay tribute to our essential workforce through a virtual 5K run/walk, presented by OhioHealth. This “virtual run/walk” allows participants to practice social distancing and complete 3.1 miles that best meets their schedule during Memorial Day weekend.
Run/walk anytime and anywhere between May 22 through May 25 (Memorial Day Weekend) to honor our essential workforce. Snap a picture of yourself in the themed shirt and post through social media with the tag #FieldofHeroes.
Registration closes May 17. Shirts will be mailed to address in registration receive your shirt via mail prior to May 22.
Proceeds from this event will be used to recognize and celebrate the COVID-19 Front Line Workers.
