Description
Join Friends of Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks for a Run to the Polls 3-Miler on Sunday, October 14th. If you would like to help raise awareness and support your Metro Parks, join us at Sharon Woods Metro Park on 10/14. Sharon Woods Park offers a beautiful setting with an abundance of wildlife. Run or walk 3 miles (plus a little more) in this fun 5K style walk/run and show your support for Issue 3.
The net proceeds of this race will benefit the Tad Jeffrey Memorial Fund, named in honor of Tad, a long standing Metro Parks Board Member. Grants from the Tad Jeffrey Memorial Fund have provided funds to install projects like barn swallow habitat, trail pollinator gardens, stretch racks and much more!
