Event Description
2027 will mark the 21st Anniversary of the Burning River Endurance Run & Relay – an exciting 100M, 50M, and Marathon solo run and 100M relay in Northeast Ohio. The race travels through several of the region's most scenic areas, including Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Summit Metro Parks.
Course
- 100M – Out and Back from Cuyahoga Falls to Silver Springs Park and back
- 2:00am Early Start – 32 hour cutoff
- 4:00am Start – 30 hour cutoff
- 50M – Point to Point from Cuyahoga Falls to Silver Springs Park
- 5:30am Start – 15 hour cutoff
- BACK HALF 50M – Point to Point from Silver Springs Park to Cuyahoga Falls
- 4:00pm Start – 18 hour cutoff
- Participants who are also pacing can start with their 100M
- MARATHON – Point to Point from Oak Hill to Silver Springs Park
- 6:30am Start – 14 hour cutoff
- 8:00am Start – 12 hour cutoff
- 8 PERSON RELAY – Out and Back course, same as the 100M event
- 7:00am start – 27 hour cutoff
Western States Qualifier
- The Burning River 100M is the 3rd leg of the Midwest Grand Slam of Ultrarunning
- The 100M race is a Western States qualifier for their lottery. All finishers qualify.
