Kid's Fun Run
Description
The 50th annual Youngstown Peace Race takes place on Sunday, October 6th, 2024. The event includes a 400-Meter Kids Fun Run (Ages 10 & Under), 2-Mile Run/Walk, 10K and 25K. A virtual option is also available.
Packet pick-up takes place on Thursday, 10/3 at Eastwood Mall Center Court from 4-8pm and on Friday (10/4) and Saturday (10/5) at Second Sole in Boardman from 11am-5pm. Race day registration and packet pick-up will take place at the Downtown YMCA starting at 7:30am.
- The Kids Fun Run begins at 9:00am and starts west of the Federal Plaza & Wick Ave intersection in Downtown Youngstown.
- The 2-Mile begins at 9:30am from the square in Downtown Youngstown.
- The 10K begins at 10:00am and the start line drop off area is located at Kirkmere Elementary School. 10K Runners must pick up packets before going to Kirkmere. The 10K will follow a fast point-to-point course starting from the Kirk Rd. & S. Schenley Ave. intersection, winding through scenic Mill Creek Park.
- All races finish at the monument at the intersection of Federal Plaza & Wick Ave. under the finish line banner.
