Putnam 5k Restoration Run

PUTNAM 5K RESTORATION RUN DETAILS
Join us Sunday, Sept. 4th for the second annual Putnam 5K Restoration Run in the Putnam Historic District, Zanesville, Ohio. Walkers are welcome!
All proceeds raised at this event will support the future growth and development of the Restoration Park on Muskingum Avenue. The families and friends of this community will have the opportunity to support the oldest historic district in Zanesville.

WHEN / WHERE
Sunday, Sept. 4
The Putnam Historic District and Restoration Park are located on the south side of the Muskingum River, south of downtown Zanesville. The second year of the race will start and finish at Restoration Park. Music and food will be available on site during the race and live entertainment will begin at the park following the race.

RACE COURSE
Runners and walkers will run through the Putnam Historic District, passing some of the city’s oldest landmarks, including sites along the Underground Railroad. The course passes the historic Weller Pottery building before entering Woodlawn Cemetery, where many Civil War heroes are buried.

STARTING TIME
Sunday, Sept. 4 at 4 p.m.

AWARDS
Awards will be issued to the top three overall male/female finishers.
Awards will also be issued to the top male/females in each of the following age categories:
14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Race awards are Custom hand-crafted, stoneware crocks featuring the race logo and an image of the Stone Academy, designed to serve as the original Ohio State Capitol building.

RACE RESULTS
Results will be published on our website at www.muskingummultisports.com following the conclusion of the race.

RACE PACKETS & FINISH LINE PERKS
Your race packet will include a Unisex Technical race-shirt with the official race logo, finish line food and beverage. Packet pick-up and Race day Registration will start at 2:45 p.m. at Restoration Park

*Participates who register by Aug. 27th will be Guaranteed a Race Shirt.
