Description
The Tri in July is a sprint triathlon benefitting the Richard Kane YMCA Scholarship program.
Your challenge will begin with a 400m pool swim. Next, you'll hop on your bike for a scenic 12 mile ride. Finally, you'll complete a mostly shaded 5k run on our city's beautiful Pathfinder.
All finishers will receive a medal and a T-shirt so that you can let the world know that you are a triathlete!
**Our event will now include a KID'S DIVISION for ages 6 -13yrs!**
Participants ages 6-9yrs
- 50m swim
- 3 mile bike ride
- 1 mile run
Participants ages 10-13yrs will compete in a
- 100m swim
- 3 mile bike ride
- 1 mile run

Running Route Kids and Adults
All Running routes will be an out and back utilizing the beautiful Pathfinder Parkway. Participants will enter the Pathfinder just to the east of the transition area that will be located near the northeast corner of the YMCA building.
Packet Pickup
Packets will be given out on raceday.
Important Raceday Information
Packet Pickup
Packets will ONLY be given out on the morning of the race at the Richard Kane YMCA. Race bibs, timing chips/straps, and shirts will be handed out on race day (July 22nd) starting at 6:30am. We will also have sharpies available to use for marking race numbers.
Transition Area Opening
The transition area is expected to be open for participants at 6:30am. Please do not try to enter the transition area before that time.
Water Stops and Post Race Food/Drinks
We will have a water stop on the bike course and at least one water stop on the run course. We also recommend bringing water with you to use on the course as well to ensure that everyone stays hydrated in the heat.
Post Race we will have water, Gatorade, Chick-Fil-A Sandwiches and fruit available for participants.
Locker Rooms
Locker rooms and bathrooms will be open and available for use on race day.
