Description
Hosted by the Durant Area Chamber of Commerce, the Magnolia Festival 5K, 1-Mile Fun Run, and Double Down are part of the Magnolia Festival! Double Down participants have the chance to win $100 by completing both the 5K and 1mile Fun Run. Finish time doesn’t matter…those who complete both races will be entered in a drawing for $100 cash at the awards ceremony!
Location: W. Evergreen, between 2nd Street and 3rd Street (in front of Opera House Coffee)
7:15 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. - Packet Pickup/ Race Day Registration
8:15 a.m. - 5K starts
9:15 a.m. - 1 Mile Fun Run starts
Awards immediately following the 1 Mile Fun Run
Awards: 5k - trophies for Overall Male and Overall Female
5k - Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for each of the following age categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Up.
1-mile Fun Run - all participants will receive ribbons.
T-shirt cannot be guaranteed after May 15, 2024.
