Red Coyote presents the Runway Mile from the Wheeler District in OKC!
Join Red Coyote for this very special Friday evening event presented by Red Coyote and Tracksmith. The Runway Mile will be on Friday night of The Red Coyote Half Marathon Weekend. Let's celebrate running in Oklahoma City with some of our favorite partners, Tracksmith, The Wheeler District, The Big Friendly, Taco Nation, Scissortail Park, and the Devon Boathouse! There will be limited edition gear, giveaways, beer, coffee, tacos, lots of post run hangs and fun!
Red Coyote Half Weekend Events:
Tracksmith is an independent running brand. We honor the Amateur Spirit upon which the sport was founded and champion the Running Class – the non-professional yet competitive runners dedicated to the pursuit of personal excellence. We offer well-considered and authentic products for training, racing and rest days. In everything we do, we aim to celebrate, support and add to running’s distinct culture.
Packet Pick UP for the Runway Mile will be at the Red Coyote Pop Up Shop location in the wheeler District from 4-6 pm.
The Runway Mile timed mile course is held in the heart of the Wheeler District, an exciting development breathing new life into the site of the old Downtown Air Park. The Start / Finish line and athlete staging are on Spoke street. Athletes take an immediate left onto 17th street and run to the corner and a right hand turn on Wheeler Street. The route runs south to Oso Avenue, west to Pioneer Street, then east on 17th Street. The course consists of two fast flat laps of the circuit before turning back onto Spoke and the finish.

Red Coyote uses MyLaps Bib Tag timing and live online results. Participants can also enable finish time text and email notifications for themselves, friends, and family. All runners will also be able to view, download, print, and share a custom finisher certificate with your time from your online results. We are also pleased to partner with Okie Pics to offer event photos loaded to your results from the race. You can download, print, and share all these great assets and we invite you to #RedCoyote, #RunWithThePack and #RunwayMile in your social posts to let everyone know what a great time you had!
