The Ubuntu Race (Virtual)

It is amazing how many runners there are across the world and how dedicated and unified so many of us are! Ubuntu is an African expression of togetherness, describing that what I am is intrinsically linked to what we are. As runners we see this in so many ways as we run or support those who do.  This VIRTUAL race/fun run is designed so we can all run together and raise funds to help fund the amazing work that the Handysides are doing alongside Ubuntu Football Academy  - mentoring and educating the next generation of great leaders, society-changers and footballers. 

They have been volunteering (raising their own support to help) for the last 3 years directly with the school where they help teach, headmaster, mentor, disciple, support others emotionally and financially and then they also impact their local committees as well. Check out more of their story at www.insimplefaith.com. This week they just got some BIG news that THEY HAVE JUST GOT THEIR VISAS RENEWED!  This is GREAT NEWS as it means there will be continuity in the lives they are part of for another 3 years which is really important!  

It is time to get the support in place to help them be effective!
