Joy in the Cause 5K and Fun Run

Run UPDATE:
Good afternoon, first off we want to say a HUGE thank you to all of our sponsors and participants. It is with careful consideration that we will be canceling the 2019 Joy In The Cause 5k and Fun Run scheduled for this Saturday June 1st at River West Festival Park. We met with City and Park Officials to research all options including relocation, rescheduling, and the virtual run concept. With their guidance and safety as the forefront of all of our decisions in addition to the unforeseeable future of the current flooding situation, choosing the “Virtual Run” option is the best avenue for all.

We would love for everyone who was planning to participate in our annual event to gather with friends, family, and our community to help spread JOY in honor of the run! Please tag us in your photos on social media and use the hashtag #joyinthecause so we can see how much Joy is spreading across Green Country!

We will be hosting a packet pick up PARTY the following days this week so everyone registered can pick up their race packet which includes: Race T-shirt, Finisher Medal (for both 5k and Fun Run), Race Bib, and Rustic Cuff (if purchased). We will have a photobooth, fun music, and will be giving away the run prizes to run participants during this time.

5K begins at 9:00 am.

Join us for the 4th annual Joy in the Cause 5K and Fun Run! Dj, Eskimo Joe's, Princesses and Super heroes, the 2nd annual Village of Causes, live painting by Pinot's Palette, and lots of FUN! This year's theme is "Run the Trail" as we celebrate National Trails Day by racing on the beautiful River Parks Trails along the Arkansas River. 5K course is certified and timed by Tulsa racing specialists, Tatur Racing. And of course, runners can register again for the 4th year Rustic Cuff design! This will be our most fun event yet, so register today and make plans to celebrate National Trails Day with Joy in the Cause!!
