Description

Join the City of Tulsa in celebrating 100 years of the Spavinaw water project at the Spavinaw Centennial Celebration 5k!

Get ready to run or walk this scenic 5k as it follows Lake Yahola and continues through scenic Mohawk Park on a USATF certified 5K course OK24023MU

You can also join us for the 1-mile fun run which is a great option for families and younger kids! All participants that register before November 9th will receive a finisher medal and t-shirt regardless of race option selected. Late registrations (those made from November 9th to November 16th) will receive a finisher medal but do NOT include a race t-shirt.

Be sure to stick around after the 5k for a day of food trucks, music and activities for the kids as we celebrate the historic Spavinaw water project and the impact it has made in Tulsa!

100% of the proceeds from your registration fee will be donated to Water for People, a global nonprofit working across nine countries in Latin America, Asia, and Africa to address the global water crisis and equip communities with lasting access to clean water and sanitation services.

RACE DAY INFO

Packet Pickup: Race packets will be available for pickup the day of the event. Race check-in/packet pickup starts Saturday, November 16th at 8:00 am.

Race start: Both the 5k and Fun Run start at 9:00 am. We are encouraging the Fun Run participants to line up at the start line BEHIND the 5k participants. Further instructions will be provided at the event over loud speaker.

Parking -

Main: Unpaved lot at NE corner of Mohawk Blvd and Harvard Ave. (ADA accessible) Paved lot at City of Tulsa Traffic Operations (4015 N Harvard Ave, Tulsa, OK 74115) on Harvard Ave just south of Mohawk Blvd.

Getting there: Travel North on Harvard Ave from 36th street North (Recommended). Travel East on Mohawk Blvd, past Tulsa SPCA, from N Colombia Ave.

Overflow: Tulsa Community College Northeast Campus (3727 E Apache St, Tulsa, OK 74115) NE corner of Apache St and Harvard Ave.

Complimentary shuttles will run from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm to transport participants to and from the event and designated parking areas.
