Proceeds benefiting Vian Community Foundation. Race day registrations for the Fun Run and In Person 5k will be cash only. No cards, Venmo, or CashApp accepted for race day registrations.

2026 Shirt

Thanks to TGI Promo for producing our 2026 shirts. Shirts will be handed out after event completion while supplies last. The 5k virtual option will have shirt pick up at later date.

What's on the table?

We have bananas, apples, oranges, and water for you at the finish line. Did you know that fiber intake through fruit and veggies is associated with lowering risks of multiple cancers? It's recommended that adults eat 5 servings of fruit and vegetables every day. A serving size is about the size of your fist.

Race Course

The first mile is paved trail, the last 2 miles are dirt trail.

Course Marking

Welcome to the world of trail running! We typically mark trail courses with ribbons attached to trees and tall grasses, and wire flags in the ground. Occasionally there will be a sign if there is a split in the trail so that one distance goes to the left, while the other goes to the right, or if a course doubles back on itself such as the Lake Vian Trail Run 5k and Fun Run do. The 5k course is marked with blue and white striped ribbons attached to trees and high grasses. The 1k Fun Run course is marked with yellow wire flags in the ground.

Signed up for virtual, but want to switch to in-person? Sign in to your RunSignUp account > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Scroll all the way to the bottom and Transfer Event. The next page will ask you to confirm which event you want do instead.
