Celebrate Halloween in Aurora Oregon by running a 5K around downtown! The 5K includes a designated course in Aurora and Official Race Results - see below on how to submit your results!
The 2020 Aurora Colony Days 5K, originally scheduled for August 2020 and postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, is now a virtual race!
We want our community to remain healthy and still celebrate Colony Days in some small way!
So, without further ado, we hope you enjoy a spooky virtual 5K run, or brisk walk, winding through the haunted streets of Aurora. You'll run, you'll walk, you'll scream with terror. Costumes encouraged.
Course
You can either run your own course or run this designated 5K course in Aurora. To run the course in Aurora, at any time on October 31st start @ the Old Aurora Colony Museum (15018 2nd St Aurora, OR 97002) and run the following two lap course.
White is lap 1, red is lap 2.
Race Instructions
1. A week prior to the race you will receive an email with a link to submit your results.
2. When the race officially starts on Saturday, October 31st at 7am you will receive an email and text message welcoming you to the race.
4. Run the 5K course on Saturday, October 31st. Results submissions will be accepted until November 15th.
5. Submission of your race results can be done via web form or text message.
6. When submitting your results, you will have the option to include a link to your Strava or Garmin Connect activity. If you do this, your results will be marked as Verified. If you don't have one of these apps, you can install Strava from your phone's app store and run\walk with your phone.
When you report your results, you will be able to upload photos of your race to go into the Official Aurora Halloween Photo Gallery.
Results will be ranked by Overall, Gender, and Age Group
