Red, White & Blue Color Fun Run/Walk (Draft)

This event is a fundraiser for Rogue Valley Veterans & Community Outreach. Proceeds will help fund programs benefitting veterans and their families.

In conjunction with Flag Day, come celebrate our colors in the RED, WHITE & BLUE COLOR FUN RUN/WALK. Come prepared (sunglasses/goggles, bandanas, etc.) to get covered in color while you walk, run, skip or dance through our red, white and blue color stations.

Where: Bear Creek Green Way in Central Point – Free parking and check in at the Jackson County Expo North lot at Gate 5.

When: Saturday, June 15, 2019 – Race day will begin with packet pick-up and late registration from 7:45-8:30.  At 8:30 we will have opening remarks, a flag ceremony and National Anthem. The 5k will start at 9:15, followed by the 1-mile at 9:30.

5k Course Details: Race starts on Foley Road (adjacent to the Expo North Parking Lot). From Foley Road runners will take a right onto the Bear Creek Greenway. Route travels north on the Greenway up to Dean Creek Road. Runners will turn around and head south to the Expo’s Gate 2, then turn around and return to start/finish on Foley Road.

1-Mile Course Details: Race starts on Foley Road (adjacent to the Expo North Parking Lot). From Foley Road runners will take a left onto the Bear Creek Greenway. Route travels south on the Greenway down to the Expo’s Gate 2, then turn around and return to start/finish line on Foley Road.

Pre-registration fees: 5k $15 | 1-Mile $10 | Kids 5 and under are free. Online registration ends 11:59pm on June 13.
Day of registration fees: 5k $25 | 1-Mile $20 (Exact change or check, no change on race day)

REMEMBER, this is a fundraiser. Please consider helping us raise funds (sign-up when registering). Registrants raising $150 or more will be refunded their individual registration fee.

T-Shirts: Commemorative t-shirt are available online for an additional $12

Awards: Awards will be given to the top three male and female qualifiers of the 5K.

NOTE: This is not a timed race.
Please no hover boards, skateboards, roller skates, scooters or furry friends. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome but please start towards back of the pack.
