ALL racing fees and donations support local non-profit organization, Family of Friends Mentoring. At Family of Friends, they envision a world where every child and family has access to responsive systems that help them live healthy, meaningful and productive lives. Their mission is to build relationships that elevate kids and families and make our community stronger. Family of Friends spun off in summer 2016 and moved to Gresham to bridge the service gap created by recent demographic shifts in the Portland Metro area. They now work in partnership with the City of Gresham, Multnomah County SUN programs and local school districts and businesses to serve more East County kids than ever before!
To learn more about Family of Friends and the amazing impact they are making on our Gresham community, visit their website and follow them on Facebook. This is an organization with it's only purpose being to serve children and families in our area to create the strongest foundation for our future Gresham communities.

Frequently asked questions;
Q1: Is there a course map? A: Please scroll down for course maps.
Q2: Can I run with a stroller? A: Absolutely! We encourage stroller runners to complete the 5K or 10K, the half marathon has trail terrain that will not work well with a stroller.
Q3: Are there finisher medals? A: Yes, for all registered participants. Medals will be given to all participants at the finish line who are wearing a visible race bib. If you loose your race bib on the course, please see the City of Gresham tent after the race to receive your medal.
Q4a & 4b: Can a friend pick-up my race packet? A: Yes! Q: Can I pick up my packet the day of the event? A: Yes, but we highly encourage everyone to pickup their packets ahead of race day. Packets will be available at the City of Gresham tent from 7am - 7:30am.
Q5: Where does the race start and end? A: Each course begins and ends at Gresham City Hall. There will be parking in both the front and back lots for all participants. Over flow parking can be found across the Max line at the Trimet parking lot. There is a path for pedestrians to cross the Max Line to the starting line.
Q6: How come I never made it off the waiting list? A: after we closed the race march 1st, we had over 100 people sign-up for the waiting list. This year we were able to stretch capacity of the event for an additional 50 participants for any course. It was a on a first come, first serve basis. If you did not signup in the allotted time, your wait list invite expired and was offered to the next participant on the list.
