Ugly Sweater Run

Tis the season! Don your ugliest of ugly sweaters and head downtown for the Klamath’s 1st Annual Ugly Sweater Run! This snow or shine event is for all ages and even pets are encouraged to dress for the occasion! This 5k fun run/walk (3.1 miles) is your choice of a jolly jog or sprightly stroll through downtown with no official timing, and no recommended fitness level. SO, grab your friends, cajole your co-workers and persuade your pet loving pals to dig out the ugly sweaters and come join the fun!

The course and festivities begin and finish at Veteran’s Memorial Park with two loops through downtown, up Klamath Avenue to 11th Street and down Main Street. Kids Santa Dash & Doggie Dress Up contest are no charge events. Bring your friends and family to cheer everyone on. The more the merrier, running or not! All proceeds benefit Friends of the Children of the Klamath Basin. If you’ve never run a 5k before, this is a fun way to burn a few calories before the holiday cookies pile up! Plus, you’ll be on hand to enjoy local vendors, photos with Santa, fun prizes, festive music, and of course, fun with friends and family to kick off your holiday season.
