Annual Agony of DeFeet

Course: The Agony of DeFeet courses are both challenging out-and-back runs through rural neighborhoods. The 5K
course features an uphill grade to the turn-around, then downhill to the finish. Times will be posted as soon as
possible after the finish. Note: Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the 5K run.

Awards: 14th Annual Jim Hoyer Memorial Running Championship
The first elementary boy and girl in the 2K run receive a trophy.

2nd Annual Clayton Gillette 5K
The first elementary boy and girl in the 5K run will receive a medal.

Post-race Prizes: Water will be available after the race. All finishers receive a ribbon. The post-race drawings
begin at 6:15 pm. Prizes include goodies for children and adults alike.

Entry: Pre-registration can be mailed or turned in to the school office. You may also register on the day of race
from 4:00-4:45 pm at the starting area. Anyone under 18 must have a parent/guardian signature for the waiver.

Fees: $2.00 by Wednesday, May 28
$4.00 day of the race

Any profits from this run are put into the Daun Track Fund to help keep our track in good shape. Please make
checks payable to Griffin Creek Elementary.
