Description
We have challenged you to run all the miles, we have challenged you to climb all the hills and now we are challenging you to challenge yourself to a race! You have put in so much hard work over the last two months and now it is time to race! Pick a distance and every week challenge yourself to beat your previous week's time.
Example- 1st week in July run a 5k on Saturday morning, record time, 2nd week in July run a 5k on a Saturday morning and try and beat your first weeks time and so on... Record all 4 weeks times and see if you can beat your 1st weeks time and/or see if you can get a new PR every week.
You are not required to run on the same day of every week and you are not required to run the same course however if you really want to challenge yourself we encourage you to run the same course each week. This is again on the honor system and we hope that this challenge will show you just how capable you are at running and how even in these uncertain times a few things are certain- YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS! YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU THINK AND YOU ARE MORE CAPABLE THAN YOU GIVE YOURSELF CREDIT FOR! So get out there and give it your all, we are cheering for you!! The distances to choose from are-
1 mile, 2 miles, 5k(3.1 miles), The Woodlands Running Co. One month Wonder Exhibition Run (4.5 miles 10k(6.2 miles), 10 miles, 13.1 miles and 30k (18.6 miles)
Upon completion of the challenge an email will be sent out for you to submit your 1st week's time and your PR from the month. Everyone who PR's will receive an SOR buff.
