Description
The Northwest Run/Walk for Epilepsy is the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest's annual epilepsy awareness walk. Now in its 13th year, the Northwest Run/Walk for Epilepsy benefits the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest (EFNW) that leads the fight to overcome challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for EFNW programs and services and increase public understanding about epilepsy. For example, some of the proceeds from this event will contribute to the first Oregon Camp Discovery to be held in August 2016.
This is the first annual Epilepsy Foundation Run/Walk to be held in Salem, Oregon. The event will be held on June 25, 2016 from 9am to noon. The event will feature live music and other fun activities.
