Why: To help stop malaria in its tracks

On June 14th, join us for a 5K walk/run that supports Imagine No Malaria. Take an early morning jog or stroll through beautiful Minto-Brown Island State Park. Our 5K course will take us through farmland, forests, and along the banks of the Willamette river. Join us in the picnic pavilion after you cross the finish line for snacks and live music. Registration is only $20. One hundred percent (100%) of your registration fee goes to Imagine No Malaria, so that each person who registers will save many lives. The tragic reality is that, every minute, a child in Sub-Saharan Africa dies from malaria. It’s a disease of poverty, which means that society’s most vulnerable members-- pregnant mothers and small children-- are affected most.
