Description
Lace up your shoes and join us for the first annual Reason to Run 5k in beautiful West Linn Oregon June 1st at 9:30am. Reason to Run is a non profit organization dedicated to providing 5k training programs to women in correctional facilities. We go into prison and teach women self-confidence and empowerment through running! And now we are organizing a non-timed community fun run outside the prison walls! The run will go along the lazy willamette river and finish at willamette park in West Linn Oregon where participants are encouraged to stay for a free family style BBQ sponsored by SouthLake Church. Dogs and strollers are welcome.
The run is free and open to the public with a donation request of $10.
