Welcome to Pacific Pug Rescue's Third Annual Virtual Pug Run!
What is a Virtual Pug Run?
A “Virtual Pug Run” or walk (we are talking about pugs after all) is a virtual event. You can participate at your location, any time you wish by doing what you already do - walking with your pug! (Or with any breed of dog, by yourself, with a friend…there are no limits!) There is no need to report mileage or the date you participated in this event. It is based on the honor system. Everyone who signs up to run or walk will be mailed an adorable Virtual Pug Run Medal to commemorate the event and their support!
Who benefits from this Virtual Pug Run?
All proceeds from this event will be used to support Pacific Pug Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in the Pacific Northwest. Pacific Pug Rescue’s purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate and place unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused pugs in permanent adoptive homes that have been carefully screened. We are funded by donations and operated entirely by volunteers. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to support needy pugs!
What do I get for participating?
You will be mailed an adorable medal for participating in this event. This year's medal features a happy pug chasing a butterfly....and, of course, has glitter! It comes with a custom neck ribbon. A new medal will be featured each year. It is our hope you will want to collect them all while helping pugs in need!
What if I want to help but I don’t want to run or walk?
You can donate to Pacific Pug Rescue by clicking on the donate button at the top of this page if you wish to help our cause without participating in the race (you will not receive a medal if you do not participate in the race)

If you live outside of the United States and wish to participate in this event and receive a medal, please select international shipping for your medal. An extra $15 will be added to your registration fee to cover the additional shipping fees.'

Riggs is a Pacific Pug Rescue Success Story!
Riggs is a Pacific Pug Rescue success story! He came into the rescue after being taken from his home due to some horrific living conditions. He didn't know how to play with a toy or even what to do with a treat. Thanks to Pacific Pug Rescue he is now enjoying life in his forever home with his Mom, Dad, and pug brother Rudy.
