What is Mohawk Tactical 2?
Mohawk Tactical 2 is a dual-event experience combining the Honor & Remember 5-Miler and the Mohawk Medevac team challenge. Participants can run, ruck, or compete as a team carrying a Rescue Randy litter—all in support of veteran & first responder suicide prevention through 22Mohawks.
Do I have to choose an event, or can I do both?
Each participant registers for one event:

Who can participate?
Anyone! This event welcomes:
Runners, Walkers, Ruckers, Veterans, first responders, civilians, families, and supporters. No prior military or tactical experience is required.
Where does the event take place?
The event is held at DCR F. Gilbert Hills State Forest – Foxborough, MA. Exact start/finish locations, parking instructions, and trail access maps will be provided in the pre-race email.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome
Can I walk the 5-Miler?
Absolutely. Walkers, ruckers, and runners are all welcome. The event is about purpose, not pace.
What is the Mohawk Medevac team challenge?
Teams of three complete a 4-mile route while carrying: A 25-lb ruck per team member and A 165-lb Rescue Randy litter, carried as a group
Teams may rotate carrying positions as needed.
Can I participate as an individual in the Medevac challenge?
Yes. Solo ruckers may complete the 4-mile route carrying a 45-lb ruck with no litter.
Do I need to bring my own ruck or gear?
Yes. Participants are responsible for bringing Their own rucksacks/weight, Hydration, Gloves (recommended for team litter carry). Rescue Randy dummies and litters are provided by the event.
Is fundraising required?
Fundraising is encouraged but not mandatory. Suggested goals are:

All funds support 22Mohawks’ mental health and suicide prevention programs.
Is the course difficult?
Both courses use natural terrain with a mix of packed dirt, minor elevation changes, and woodland trail. You do not need to be an expert trail runner—just prepared for uneven ground.
Is this event timed?
Yes. Timing is provided for both:

The 5-Miler (individual chip timing)

The Medevac event (team finishing time recorded)
