The challenge our team is taking on is nothing short of extraordinary. In 2028, we will row 2,800 miles across the Pacific Ocean—from Monterey, California to Kauai, Hawaii—in the World’s Toughest Row™ Pacific Challenge. Our mission is simple but powerful:
Raise awareness and funding to support veterans battling the invisible wounds of war.
Every day in America, an average of 22 veterans die by suicide—a number that research now suggests may be drastically underreported, possibly closer to twice that heartbreaking figure. Too many of our brothers and sisters are quietly fighting battles they shouldn’t have to face alone. Our row is for them.
World’s Toughest Row™, organized by Atlantic Campaigns, is recognized as one of the most demanding endurance races on Earth. Teams row across vast stretches of open ocean, relying solely on their own strength, navigation, and determination. Rowers can compete as soloists, pairs, trios, fours, or even fives, each facing weeks—sometimes over a month—of isolation, storms, towering swells, and nonstop physical strain.
Beginning June of 2028, every team must be fully self-sufficient, carrying all food, water, safety gear, and survival equipment required for the entire journey. There are no support boats. No resupplies. Just pure human grit and the endless ocean.
The race pushes the limits of endurance, encourages stewardship of our oceans, and shines a spotlight on causes that truly matter. For us, that cause is veteran mental health. Through this row, we aim to amplify the voices of those who feel unheard, honor those we’ve lost, and inspire those still fighting to keep going.
This mission is bigger than the ocean.
It’s about saving lives, restoring hope, and reminding veterans everywhere that their story isn’t over.
