We can not make the Outpace Cancer Race happen without VOLUNTEERS like you! 

We offer many different volunteer opportunities to helping race particpants get their packets prior to race day,  and many different volunteer posts on race day like helping monitor the course, cheering on the participants as they walk or run. Please review the volunteer description and timeslots carefully before signing up. If you are wanting to volunteer and are under the age of 18, you will need a parent or guardian to volunteer at the same post. 

We are able to sign for school volunteer hours. 

When you sign up we will ask that you selct a t-shirt size. We do our best to accomodate shirt sizes and ensure every volunteer gets a shirt. 

We ask all Race Day Volunteers to wear their volunteer badge for the entirety of their shift. 

Cheer Squad and Packet Pick Up volunteers will not recieve a shirt. 

It is important when you sign up you use an email that is check regulary. You will recieve volunteer role details, parking instructions and race site maps all through email. You can expect volunteer communications 2 weeks before and leading up to the race. 

Volunteer communication will be via email. You will be asked to join a Group Me in the initial email for Day of Communication. 

Volunteer Day of Details 

All volunteers will check in at the Volunteer Check In Tent at the Bring Your Pace Bash. The Bash will be held in Lot 10B on the corner of 10th Street and Phillips Ave.

At Check In, you will receive your volunteer badge and t-shirt. 

Volunteer roles are first come first serve. If you are interested in having a group volunteer at the same post please reach out to Emily Allison to discuss. We will do our best to the accomadate request.
