Description
Ambler Area Running Club proudly presents the 26th Fireside Frostbite Five Miler.
The 5 Mile Run is on a USATF certified course and is the kick-0ff event of the 2025 MidAtlantic USATF Gran Prix
Race Day registration will be available from 7:30 to 8:45AM in the school gymnasium.

Registration for in-person race will be limited to 1500. Online registration ends on Feb 15, 2025 or when that limit is reached.

Avoid the race-day lines and pick up your bib on Friday night at the Ambler Theater from 4:15-7:45 PM.

MAUSATF Grand Prix Event
The Fireside Frostbite Five Miler is the traditional first stop on the USA Track & Field's Grand Prix circuit in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The annual circuit consists of 11 races of varying popular distances using USATF-certified courses and offering USATF sanctions. Read more about the circuit here.
COURSE TIME LIMIT:
If you are not at the 2.9 mile mark of the course within 1 hour of the start of the race you will be asked to divert in to the parking lot at Wissahickon School District and we will make every effort to mark out a 5K finish line for you. You can then proceed across the property to Wissahickon High School for post race events.
AS THIS IS A WINTER TIME EVENT
Weather events or forecasts of potential weather events may cause the cancellation, postponement or alteration of race distance or course. There will be no refunds, deferments or transfers. Online sales of your bib are not allowed. Violators, in accordance with USATF rules are subject to bans.
