MOORE FOR THE TROOPS THIRD ANNUAL 5K
Our focus for 2026 is Mental Health Awareness. Our mission is to bring awareness to Veteran Mental Health and share resources for Veterans.
The 5K is being held in honor of Bryan McCauley. Bryan is a Marine Corps veteran, former police officer/detective, and firefighter/EMT with over 14 years in recovery. He has built and led substance use treatment programs for veterans and first responders, focusing on trauma, emotional regulation, and the cultural barriers that keep people from asking for help.
100% of the proceeds will be donated Alpha Bravo Canine. Alpha Bravo Canine’s mission is to raise, train, and donate trained service dogs to U.S military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other combat-related disabilities.
5K DETAILS:
We will start and end the run/walk on the track but the 5K will follow a trail around the school which includes some small hills, grassy areas and pavement.
If you prefer to stay on the track for the 5K, that is also an option.
The one mile fun run will remain on the track. 4 laps around the track is equal to 1 mile.
*Dogs (with the exception of service dogs) are NOT permitted on school grounds
VIRTUAL:
If you would like to join us but aren't able to attend on April 18, you can still help us deliver our mission by running on your treadmill or favorite trail close to home! If you would like to order a t-shirt, click here. Please note - shirts will be delivered after April 18.

REGISTRATION OPENS AT 8:00 AM AND CLOSES AT 9:30 AM
DAY OF EVENT SIGN-UPS ARE: $55 for the 5K and $50 for the 1-Mile Fun Run
VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS - Post your pictures of your run/walk and tag us!! We will randomly pick someone to receive an Amazon gift card!!!

Registration Cost
- Registration cost is $50 for the 5K Run/Walk and $45 for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Day of registrations change to $55 for the 5K Run/Walk and $50 for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- On the day of the event, only cash and check will be accepted
- Registration will open at 8:00 AM the day of the event and will close at 9:30 AM
T-Shirts and Medals
- Every LIVE participant who registers on or before March 20 will receive a medal and t-shirt
