Costume Crawl for PAILA Month

RAISE Your Hearts Presents: Costume Crawl 5K Trail Run/Walk
Raising Awareness for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. 

Participate in person or virtually - run, walk, or crawl… do it in costume! This all-levels event is about moving with purpose, not perfection!

Day of Registration: 9:30 AM

Start time: 10 am at the Van Scott Nature Reserve (VSNR) - Delaware Highlands Conservancy.

Prizes will be awarded in six categories: 

• Funniest
• Cutest
• Most Creative
• Most Adorable Duo
• Best DIY Costume
• Best Group Costume - one prize for a team of up to 4 participants

Registration

In-person registration Fees: $35 for adults, $15 for ages 6-15, and free for crawlers ages 5 and under.

Registration includes run/walk entry, a T-shirt, and a medal for the first 50 in-person registrants, as well as light refreshments and access to community activities following the event. 

Want to make an even bigger impact?

Participants who raise $250 or more in support of RAISE Your Hearts will receive an exclusive embroidered Costumed Crawl sweatshirt as a thank-you for going the extra mile. 

Can't join us in person? 

Virtual participation is also available for $25 for adults and $10 for ages 6-15. Virtual participants can complete their 5k wherever and whenever works for them, but T-shirts and medals are available for in-person participants only.

Join us for our Costumed Creature Crawl 5K Trail Walk/Run on October 31, 2026, to honor, remember, and show love for ALL of our little ones who have run off ahead.  While facing life after the death of a child can feel isolating, know that you have the support of the RAISE Your Hearts community. We can help each other ignite the light together. Now let's RACE our hearts out! 

What you need to know 

• Bring Baby/Hiking Carriers, as the trails are not stroller-friendly
• Along the route, water stations and first aid will be available.
• Reusable water bottles are encouraged.
• Additional activities are available:

  • Light refreshments
