NCC Combat Stigma 5k
The course starts and finishes on NCC’s Bethlehem campus. Point to point course is mostly flat and fast, on paved roads between Northampton Community College and through a local neighborhood. Post-race raffle, music, and refreshments. Strollers and pets are welcome behind the runners. Pets must be leashed. This event is also a walk. Walkers will begin behind the runners and will not be timed.
Awards for overall male and overall female; awards to top male and female finisher in each age bracket: (No duplication of awards). Age awards ranges: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Note: This event will occur RAIN OR SHINE.
Order of Events:
Check-In begins at- 8:30 am.
Pre-Race Stretch- 9:30 am. (Pre / Post Race Stretch. )
National Anthem- 9:45 am.
Race time is- 10:00 am.

This race supports Veterans, Service Members & their Families.
The Band of Brothers is a student-run organization at Northampton Community College that advocates and supports student Veterans on campus. The goal of BOB is to build camaraderie among student veterans, families, and allies as we facilitate a seamless transition from military life into higher education and build a foundation for the future. As we aid in transition efforts 'The Band of Brothers' will be co-hosting the 'Combat Stigma' 5k Run/ Walk with the Adult & Military-Affiliated Student Services Office at NCC and Home for our Troops.
A portion of all donations will be allocated to the 'Band of Brothers'- a student veteran organization at NCC transitioning Veterans, Service Members, and their families. 'Band of Brothers' supports transitioning students "Combat to College".
A portion of all donations will be donated to Home for our Troops as this nonprofit organization focuses on building homes and rebuilding lives.
