Description
A truly fun run that kicks off the Tartan Parade - Kilts and plaid are highly encouraged!
This is the 34th Celtic Classic 5K Run/Walk, produced by Bethlehem Morning Star Rotary. All proceeds go towards Morning Star's educational and leadership programs for local students.
Be a part of this first class event featuring chip timing. Run or walk and spend the rest of the day enjoying the Celtic Classic and Historic Downtown Bethlehem.
EVENT: 5K (3.1 Mile) Run / Walk
WHEN: Saturday, Sept 26th 2025
10:00am Registration / Race Packet Pickup on Sand Island
11:00am Participants move to Start Line by City Hall
11:15am Race Start on Parade Route
12:30pm Awards Ceremony
WHERE: Sand Island Bethlehem, PA
AMENITIES:
• T-shirts to at least the first 150 entrants
• Refreshments both before and after race
• Post race fun in Bethlehem – Celtic Classic or Historic Bethlehem
• Restrooms available near start / finish line for all participants

• Fastest overall male and female runner
AGE GROUP AWARDS:
The Morningstar Rotary 5K awards the top 3 in each of the age groups for both male and female runners
- 14 & under (8)
- 15 – 19
- 20 – 29
- 30 – 39
- 40 – 49
- 50 – 59
- 60 – 69
- 70+
RUNNING MIXED TEAMS (Clans):
• Awards to the fastest Mixed Teams (clans) in the 5K
• Eligible teams must be a minimum of 3 persons.
• Each team must include at least 1 “bonnie lassie” (female)
• Teams may contain more than two (2) members – only top female and top male position will count for the team
• Team members are still eligible for individual Age Group awards
• Mixed Team must register with a “team (clan) name”
• Separate race registration required for each team member; “team name” must be provided at time of registration for each mixed team member
KILTS:
The wearing of kilts is encouraged.
