John Michael Cavanaugh aka "Jack" was born on December 31, 2013. He was born at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and was diagnosed with a rare condition called Amyoplasia, a type of arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (or AMC). Jack has joint contractures in all four of his limbs causing him very limited range of motion. In 2014 Jack had surgery to correct his hips. After a long recovery he began to stand for the first time. This year after months and months of practice he started walking and now he is unstoppable!
