Shipley Virtual 5K

What is a Virtual 5K?
A virtual 5K is a race you can do at any location and any time of day as long as it is on the day of the race. You should complete the 5K (3.1 miles) at some point on Saturday, May 16. Once you finish the race, submit your time and a participation gift will be sent to you!

Where and how far do I run/walk?
For this race, you can choose where to run. You can choose to go outdoors, or if you would prefer to stay indoors, you could use a treadmill. The distance you will run or walk is 5 Kilometers or 3.1 Miles. You can track that using a few different options: a GPS watch or apps on a smartphone (MapMyRun, Runkeeper, Runtastic, etc.).
Please follow all current social distancing guidelines and maintain 6 feet between you and others. 

What do I do after I finish the race? 
Submit your time and mailing address to receive your participation gift. Take a sweaty selfie and use #ShipleySweats on social media.
