Penn Christian Academy - Run with the Lions 5K

The PCA 5K is back!   Come Run with the Lions on Friday, May 19th! 

All proceeds from the Run with the Lions 5K will be used for the athletic program at Penn Christian Academy. Funds will be used for future projects to continue to build a Christ-centered athletic environment for students. Penn Christian Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible. 

PCA is a leader in providing quality Christian education for families in the North Pittsburgh and Butler County area. The vision of Penn Christian Academy is to equip biblical worldview thinkers who serve and lead in the name of Christ. By experiencing their God-given potential in a stellar academic program, Penn Christian Academy students learn and apply Biblical values and truths that will help them become the leaders of tomorrow.

6:00 - Registration Opens

7:00 - 5K Run / Walk   
7:45 - 1/2 Mile Kids Race 

-Race day registration will be available.

-Race fees for both events are reasonably priced at $15 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids 1/2 Mile.  *Price increase to $20 for the 5K after May 9th.   

-Participants wanting to order a race T-Shirt can do so for an additional $10.  (Deadline to order / guarantee a T-Shirt is Midnight on Tuesday, May 9th!)

-The 5K is open to runners and walkers of all ages.  The 5K course is flat & fast on the roads surrounding the PCA Campus.  The 1/2 Mile Kids Race is for runners 14 and Under.  The 1/2 Mile course is an out & back on Steppland Rd.   Both races will be chip-timed; timing services and results provided by Miles of Smiles Timing.

-Parking will be in the main lot behind PCA.  NO parking in the front lot on Race Day.

5K Awards:

Top 3 Male & Female Overall
Top 3 Male & Female in each Age Group (1-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49,50-59, 60+) 

1/2 Mile Awards:

Top 3 Male & Female in each Age Group (5 & Under, 6-8, 9-11, 12-14)
