Description

General Description: Be part of the second annual Tuff Tornado Run!  Run or walk, climb, and balance through the terrain with eighteen amazing obstacles from last year and some newly added ones for this year.  This will take place at Alameda Park on October 05, 2019 from 1:00 PM – 4 PM.  Prepare to get dirty as you make your way towards the finish line to our mud pit.  We have Cross Fit Recreate representatives to help you stretch out to music from our DJ, Tom Menchyk.  We have many food trucks which will be available with a variety of food. The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, is sponsoring this run.  Proceeds will benefit students in the Butler Area School District through the Kids’ Weekend Backpack Program, Creative Teaching Grants, much needed technology and other scholastic projects supporting our BASD students. All levels of runners, walkers, and TEAMS are welcome to participate.  Come join us for an afternoon of fun and fitness and to support our causes.  This event will take place rain or shine.

Pre-registration: Fee is $15 for ages 5-12, $20 for ages 13 and older and $50 for a family (up to six members of a single family).  If you are signing up as a team, you will be able to do this at the registration site.

Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup can be done on Saturday starting at noon.

Race Day On-Site Registration: Open from 11 AM – 12:30 PM Fee is $20 for ages 5-12, $25 for ages 13 and older, and $55 for a family (up to six members of a single family). If you are signing up with a team, everyone on your team must sign up at the same time.

Timing:  This race will be chip timed by Wolf Creek Race Management (WCRM).  WCRM utilizes premium, disposable bib chips.

Shirts: Pre-register by Monday, September 9th to receive a free t-shirt in your size.

Course: This is a two-mile run which includes eighteen plus obstacles.

Restrooms:  Restrooms will be available throughout the park.
