Most Amazing Race

Patterned after the CBS show “The Amazing Race,” this Most Amazing Race, in support of The Salvation Army of Carlisle, combines challenges that are physical, mental and sometimes even silly and scatters teams of two all over Carlisle in an effort to win a $1,000 cash prize!  

From the starting line, teams are given a clue leading them to other checkpoints and they must successfully complete challenges—following clues—until they reach the end of the race. The conclusion of the race involves a check presentation of $1,000 to the winning team as well as $500 for 2nd place and $250 for 3rd place competitors.  This is a fun, charity event.  Teams raise funds to benefit The Salvation Army of Carlisle's programs in order to qualify for the race, and are awarded advantages in the race for being among the top fund raisers. Teams may develop a fan base of friends and family members who may contribute electronically or by mail to their specific team's goal.  All proceeds help The Salvation Army help individuals and families in need throughout Carlisle.  Visit SalvationArmyCarlisle.org for more information and to register for the Most Amazing Race.
