Description
Join us on Sunday, April 9th, 2017 for our 6th Annual Tails and Trail 5K Run/3K Walk event at Pickering Meade Farm, home of Main Line Animal Rescue! Enjoy a perfect morning with your family and friends, all while raising much-needed funds to support MLAR and their lifesaving programs and services. The cross-country style course traverses rolling hills and offers sprawling views of the farm, countryside, and spring foliage. You just may get cheered on by some of our adoptable furry friends on the race course!
100% of the proceeds and funds raised benefit Main Line Animal Rescue. MLAR specializes in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted, and abadoned companion animals. MLAR never discriminates on the basis of health, age or breed. By involving and educating the community, Main Line Animal Rescue works to raise the public's awareness of the plight of homeless animals as well as realizing the benefits of adopting an animal in need.
Free t-shirts available for all early registrants (before or on March 25, 2017). Prizes for fundraising!
Child-friendly dogs and dog-friendly children encouraged to attend. All dogs must be leashed (no flexi-leads please).
