3rd Annual Strawberry Day 5k Run/Walk

Come join us for a day of family fun at the 3rd Annual Strawberry Day 5k run/walk on Saturday, June 24th! We will kick off the day with a 5k run/walk around the streets of Clarks Summit then have a kids fun run afterwards. Proceeds from the race benefit The Gathering Place. Over the course of two years, National Running Center was able to donate over $2500 with your help. The Gathering Place is a new community center that celebrates inclusive partnerships, creativity, education and the arts in Clarks Summit and the Abingtons.

The 5K run/walk will begin promptly at 9:00 am.

Course Information: TBA but it is Clarks Summit, so expect some hills!

Kid's fun run will begin immediately following the 5k at approximately 10:00 am. The Fun Run is free of charge and will be a short straightaway on a closed street. 

Race day registration will begin at 7:30am at The National Running Center: 318 Davis St. Clarks Summit, PA 18411

Packet pick up will be held Friday, June 23rd at the National Running Center from 4pm-7pm. Packet pick up will also start at 7:30 am on the morning of the race.

 After the race, stick around for face painting, kids crafts, water balloon launching, and kids games.  Stroll  through our open market and recharge your energy with yogurt-granola-strawberry treats, strawberry lemonade and other offerings from vendors.  Enjoy the music of Old Man River band and attend the Runners' awards ceremony inside The Gathering Place.  You can also join in the Scavenger Hunt to search for eight giant strawberries hidden in local businesses, fill out your entry form and qualify to win great prizes.
