Event Description
Be part of one of the signature events of Youghtoberfest Weekend with the Youghtoberfest 5K, a scenic point-to-point race through Connellsville. Point-to-point races are a rarity in our area, offering runners and walkers a unique course from start to finish instead of the traditional out-and-back or loop format.
Whether you're chasing a personal best, enjoying a morning with friends, or simply supporting a great cause, this event is for you. The race is open to both runners and walkers, with awards presented to the top three overall men and women in both the running and walking divisions.
Registration is just $25, and every entry helps make a difference. All proceeds from the race benefit Type 1 diabetes awareness and research, supporting organizations dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by T1D.
After crossing the finish line, stick around and enjoy everything Youghtoberfest Weekend has to offer at Yough River Brewing, including craft beer, food, live entertainment, and a fun community atmosphere.

Race Day Information & Timeline
To make race morning as convenient as possible, all participants will park at Yough River Brewing, which will serve as the central location for race-day activities.
Race Day Schedule
- 7:30 a.m. – Race-day registration and packet pickup open at Yough River Brewing.
- 8:00 a.m. – The first complimentary shuttle departs for the starting line.
- 9:00 a.m. – Race will begin on the Great Allegheny Passage
- Additional shuttle trips will run as needed to ensure all participants arrive comfortably before the race begins.
Once you've completed the point-to-point course, you'll finish back at Yough River Brewing, where you can celebrate your accomplishment and enjoy the festivities of Youghtoberfest Weekend.
