Description

This event's goal is to bring the community together to remember our service members​ that have fallen, that are still fighting, and the families of all those that have served and sacrificed in the US Armed Forces, Lest we forget.  This event is our Scouts opportunity to show duty to country while raising funds providing the opportunity to help build leadership through the program:  I.e., summer camp, equipment, and other program costs.​

​Awards:​ Overall and Age Groups, Top 1-3 overall, top 1-3 in each age group, 

Entry:
​$35 / Participant before May 1 after that date… no shirt or timing can be guaranteed.  $40 Late registration.

Amenities:​
The 5k course will take you through two figure eights around Amity Community Park Trail.  It is hilly and challenging, but we have managed to ensure you are mostly running downhill!  The walkers will complete 1 figure 8.  
Each Registrant will receive a Remembrance Run/ Walk t shirt (Offer Adult Sizes Small, Medium, Large, XL, XXL).  
4 water stations are located throughout the course with race stewards to help you find your way.
Finisher medals provided to each participant as they cross the finish line.

Our Mission Statement:
​Guided by the principles set forth by the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto,  Scout Slogan, and the Outdoor code, it is our responsibility to help young people become responsible young adults of good character for themselves, their community, and the world around them.  Our Scouts practice their youth leadership skills through camping 8-10 times per scout year, community service projects, fundraisers, weekly meetings, and various day activities.
