The seventh annual Jog for Jude, held in memory of Jude Zayac who suddenly and tragically passed away on July 23rd, 2014 from S.I.D.S. (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), is the area's only 5k race raising awareness and funds for S.I.D.S. research.
*Due to safety concerns regarding the ongoing pandemic, this year's race will be VIRTUAL ONLY.
Race Date: Memorial Day weekend (5/28-5/31)
***Participants who sign up on or before May 3rd will receive a tri-blend race T-shirt. Due to shipping/logistics issues, any participant signing up after this date will not be eligible for a T-shirt this year.
Race Location: Anywhere! Support our cause and race for Jude on your own favorite route.
Races: This year there will be only be signups for a 5K (Virtual), but please feel free to sign up and go out for a nice walk in Jude's memory.
Awards: The Overall Male and Female Champions will receive trophies and prizes, along with medals awarded to the top male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male/female finishers ages 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
This is a Rain or Shine event (but you have 4 days to plan accordingly)! All registrations are final and non-refundable. If for any reason you are unable to submit a time for the event, your registration fee will be considered a donation to the charity.
