Runners in this inaugural race will be the first to run on the newly-developed raw trails at Goodell Gardens & Homestead!
Course includes, soil, woodland, field, and boardwalk paths. Dress for the weather -- your feet may get muddy/wet.
Run will be approximately 5K. Final course and length will be determined based on trail conditions in the Spring.
Registration begins at 9 am, race starts at 10 am.
Top two runners overall will receive a native flowering dogwood tree as a prize!
Top two runners in each age category will receive a wooden medal:
12 & under (kids race), 18 & under (full race), 19-39 40-64, 65+
Balance bike event for preschoolers will also be held with top competitors receiving a prize. Bring your own balance bike or borrow one from 814 Outdoor Sports.
Proceeds benefit Goodell Gardens & Homestead, a public garden, aboretum, and community gathering space in Edinboro, Pennsylvania that creates beautiful gardens and natural spaces where folks visit to Enjoy, Gather, Learn, and Refresh.
** While it's too late to purchase shirts to arrive in time for the event, if you would like to purchase a shirt, let us know at day-of check-in. We will have a few extra of each size and, if there is enough interest, we will order a 2nd run of shirts. Thank you!
