Dirt in Your Face Race

     This is to inform you that the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Administration has decided to follow the recommendation of Governor Wolf to delay sports this fall.  Therefore, the Dirt in Your Face Race will be postponed this year. This decision was very difficult, but it prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of our coaches, runners and staff.

Description

Dirt in your Face  is a Cross Country race hosted by Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Parish at Our Lady of Mount Carmel cross country course . The race is for kids from 1st thru 8th grades . Awards will be presented to the top 10 finishers in each category (Grades 1-2/3-4/5-6/7-8 Boys and Girls).All 1st thru 4th graders will run a 1 mile course and all 5th thru 8th graders will run a 2 mile course . Timing will be done by Dan Albough of the Erie Runners Club. Concession stand will be open all day .We ask that all runners arrive 30 min before there race start time to check in a be issued a race bib. This year (2020) we will be selling t-shirts that you may pre-order on the Runner Sign Up website.  Please look at the Store for a picture of the t-shirt.  T-shirts must be ordered by midnight September 16,2020 and will be available for pickup on the day of the race.
