Glow Erie Glow!

This 5K run and Fun Walk is a challenging course through the front 9 holes of the picturesque Whispering Woods Golf Course.  Help us get our glow on with your wildest glow sticks, LED lights and neon as you run, walk or stroll through the music and light infused course. 

PARKING
Parking will be at McDowell High School. Shuttle buses will be running every 10 minutes from the entrance on Caughey Road.
Shuttles will run starting at 5 PM and run until until 9:30 PM

PRE-RACE CHECK IN
You can checkin, pick up your race shirt and timing chip before the race outside the Whispering Woods clubhouse on: 

Saturday, September 29
5:00 pm to 6:45 pm

Glow Erie 5K Timed Run - 6 PM (Before Dark)
The first event will be a timed 5K race starting at 6 p.m. Please note that the terrain is very challenging with some uphill sections but all of the race will be on the paved cart paths along the course. 

PRIZES
There will be a prize for the first place overall male and female for the timed race at 6 pm. The prize is: $25.00 gift certificate to Pressed book store and coffee shop AND Free computer service or repair from InControl Technical, LLC ($129 value)

Glow Erie Fun Run/Walk (Not Timed) - 7 PM (Starts at Sunset) 
This 5K walk will be on a challenging course but along the cart paths along the golf course. The path will be dimly lit so be aware and careful when you are running. KIDS 10 AND UNDER ARE FREE WITH A PAID REGISTRATION BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE A RACE SHIRT. RACE SHIRTS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN OUR RACE STORE. *Refunds will not be available but you can transfer a registration to another person.

The race benefits United Service Corps, a local community service nonprofit in Erie. Our Giving Corps is dedicated to serving people and the planet.
