This year’s race will be a virtual event.
All race proceeds from this year’s event will be presented to the Northwest PA ALS Association (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) & the Autism Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania.
PREMIUM: You may order a long-sleeve commemorative shirt as a menu item. Registrations received before December 1, 2020 will be guaranteed the shirt at a drive-thru packet pickup on Tuesday, December 8th at the Erie Runners Club’s storage facility across from the Elks Lodge #67 at 2409 Peninsula Drive in Erie between 12 noon and 5 p.m.
If you are unable to get to the packet pickup, we will make other arrangements for pickup on an individual basis.
Any shirt orders received after the cutoff date will be filled but delivery MAY be delayed, due to increased uncertainty regarding shipping from vendors with the combined difficulties of the holiday season and the Covid-19 pandemic.
YOU ARE URGED TO REGISTER as early as possible!!
AWARDS: There will be no awards this year, for obvious reasons. You are urged to run or walk your 5K distance between Saturday, December 5th, and Saturday, December 12th. You will then be able to submit your time and the race will be scored as any race would be. E-mail your results to Dan Albaugh at firstname.lastname@example.org
Since the Snowflake 5K has always been a race in which all the proceeds benefit local charities, everyone is encouraged to sign up with friends and family in the spirit of the Christmas season.
