2019 Kids Triathlon August 25, 2019
The YMCA of Greater Brandywine Kids' Triathlon is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14. The race will take place on a closed course utilizing the Lionville Y indoor pool, and the Downingtown East High School and Lionville Elementary School grounds. Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers from the 7 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, and 13 to 14 age groups. All event finishers will receive a finisher's medal.
Participants ages 7 to 10 will swim 100 yards, bike 2.0 miles, and run a 1/2 mile.
Participants aged 11 to 14 will swim 150 yards, bike 2.0 miles, and run 1 mile.
Registration fee for the event is $45 until July 25. After July 25, registration fee is 55.00. For information regarding the race or the Kids Triathlon please contact Ronda Hamilton.
